Lebron James Cheating on Wife? Forcing Girls to Sign NDAs?

Remember the good old days when you actually had to verify the authenticity of outrageous claims before you spewed them out of your mouth? Sofia Franklyn, did the opposite of that when she claimed on her Sofia with an F Podcast that Lebron James is some kind of man-whore that cheats on his wife.

"LeBron James has various parties, constantly where NDAs need to be signed and women are at. You didn’t know that? You didn’t know LeBron’s a cheater?"

She also called out Leonardo DiCaprio before that stating in her scholarly tone, "Leonardo DiCaprio, I know for a fact...I mean I've never been invited but my friends have. He goes out and his bodyguards or whatever go up to the girls, ask them if they want to go back to his house, or wherever, they sign an NDA."

So What???

Even if this is true, should this really come as a shock to all of us? A-List celebrities, and high-level professional athletes fooling around on the side, asking these women to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements to protect their public image is not a new thing. Just to name a few...

In a world where narcissism and hook-up culture reign supreme, feeling good and getting off is the only thing that matters for these rich and shameless figures. So, am I shocked if Lebron James cheated on his wife? No. Am I disappointed? Yes. No worries, I've been disappointed in him for a while.

The Real Question

As a woman, why would you sign one of these non-disclosure agreements in the first place? Sure it is there to protect the celebrity, but most of the time not the person signing. Why would anyone sign them? It is not like you can brag about the star you slept with.

So then what? Is it just meaningless sex? A notch under your belt? Well that would be in theme with the narcissistic culture we live in now. Do you feel like a fairy tale princess caught up in a love story with your celebrity dream crush? Newsflash...fairy tales don't have NDAs. I can't feel too sorry for you when you VOLUNTARILY entered into a contract that treats you like a whore.

You REALLY want to talk about empowering women? Don't let men, no matter how famous, treat you like their whore. That is the opposite of empowerment. Do not let them turn you into an adulterer. Do not be just another notch under THEIR belt. We've all used, and we've all been used. It is time for this meaningless cycle to stop. Know your worth, you're not some signature on a piece of paper for a good time. Respect yourself, find something meaningful.
